Borisovskiy Glass Manufacturing Plant, JSC is a modern, dynamically developing enterprise that produces containers for food and pharmaceutical industries made of high-strength, transparent glass.
The plant Borisovskiy Glass specializes in the production of colorless glass containers for food industry with a capacity of 0.1-1 liter. The company is one of the oldest manufacturers of medical packaging, which was awarded as the “Brand of the Year 2004”. Before the plant was stopped for reconstruction, it had occupied more than 30% of the medical packaging market in Russia. Currently, the plant is preparing to launch production lines for the manufacture of glass containers for medical and food products.

The main activity of the company is the production of colorless glass products with a capacity of 0.1 to 0.5 liters for the pharmaceutical industry in Russia. The plant’s product range includes many articles for alcoholic and non-alcoholic products.
Equipment
The plant is under reconstruction until 2022. It is planned to build a new composite shop for the preparation of furnace charge, a new glass furnace, two machine lines for the production of glass containers, as well as the reconstruction of the logistics facilities of the enterprise.

The plant produces up to 100 million pieces of glass products. The increase in the daily output of glass led to further modernization of production. Automatic dispensers with charge composition tracking via computer are installed at the charge preparation site

The plant is celebrating its 120th anniversary. There is a tendency to increase the salary of the team, improve working conditions, there is a prospect of building new production areas, the development of the social and housing sector. There has been a trend to rejuvenate the team, young people come to work at the plant. Over the years, thanks to the people working at the company, a golden fund of experience and knowledge has been created

The plant became the part of the association Soyuzmedpolymersteklo. The main nomenclature became medical products - vials for donated blood and substitutes, bottles and jars for baby food

At the All-Russian exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod, products of pink and purple color were named the golden ruby and awarded a gold medal

Foundation of the production. The first glass-making plant and five tempering furnaces were launched on the bank of the river Shlitsy. The founder of the production was the merchant A.V. Bolotin. Glass for lamps, candlesticks, and church utensils were produced
